Mondays, Dance Classes
Katrina's School of Dance run local classes at Rothwell Conservative Club on Monday evenings, with the following sections, and would like to recruit new pupils:-
6.00 to 6.30 pm - Street and disco class age 3+
6.30 to 7.00 pm - Cheer dance class age 3+
7.00 to 7.45 pm - Adult ballroom and Latin class.

Residents are invited for coffee every Monday morning at the Salvation Army Citadel, New Street, Rothwell.
Wednesdays, 7-9 pm - Swimming

Wednesdays from 5.30 pm - Martial Arts

Rothwell Short Mat Bowls Club meet on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons in the Well Lane Community Centre and invites new members, either experienced or beginners. Thursdays from 7.15 to 9.30 pm - Army Cadets
The aim of the Army Cadet Force is to provide stimulating and challenging pastimes for our young people and the Cadet Force Motto is to “inspire to achieve”.
Our cadets participate in a wide variety of activities which range from military training (including living outdoors), citizenship training, full bore and small bore shooting and a range of sporting activities which include, swimming, cross country, football and tug of war to name but a few. Many have the chance to earn sporting colours at County, District and National level.  They will be taught St John Ambulance skills and be encouraged to join the Duke of Edinburgh's Award and BTec Schemes. The latter three are all recognized civilian qualifications and will be very useful to our young people, whatever career path they choose to follow.
