Thursdays from 7.15 to 9.30 pm - Army Cadets

Kettering Sight Centre - Opening Times and Events
The Kettering Sight Centre is located at the top of Wadcroft next to Shopmobility, and just down from Gregg's on the High Street, Kettering.  The Centre is open from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays PLUS the last Saturday of every month.  Telephone 01536 522773 or E-mail

Rothwell Girls Brigade are hosting a coffee morning from 9.30 to 11.30 am in the Methodist Church in Market Hill, with a cake stall, tombola and refreshments.
Sunday, 27th June - Open Garden
The 1.5 acre gardens of Top Lodge, off Violet Lane, Glendon Road, Rothwell will be open in aid of the Parkinsons Society from 2.00 to 5.00 pm.  Plant stall and refreshments.  Admission for adults £3, accompanied children enter free.

Saturday, 3rd July 2010 - Baby Show
The 52nd Annual Baby Show will be held from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm on Saturday, 3rd July in the Methodist Church, Market Hill Square, Rothwell.  Entry for the baby show £2 for each child entered, babies and toddlers 0 to 2 years old.  Winners will be announced and presented with prizes at the Carnival Fete on the 10th July.  Refreshments available.    For further details please E-mail or telephone Kay on 01536 507668. Saturday, 10th July 2010 - Rothwell Carnival
The Carnival Parade commences at 1.30 pm from Moorfield Road and proceeds along Harrington Road, Fox Street, High Street, Bridge Street, Market Hill, Bell Hill, Rock Hill, Rushton Road, Cecil Street, Tresham Street and ends back on the Market Hill Square. 

The Carnival Fete commences on "The Mounts" (Manor Park, Squires Hill) at the end of the parade.  Entertainment includes The Montsaye Street Dance Crew and Mirra Image, Rothwell Junior School Choir, Mr Mudge, Sahara Belly Dancers, St Simon and St Jude Band and the Wellingborough Blue Lancer Majorettes.  Plenty of stalls, bouncy castle, roundabout, football game.  There will also be refreshments, including the infamous Rowell Lions BBQ sausages and burgers.
